How to set up Shipping Protection?
How shipping protection works:
Once you've completed these steps, the shipping protection option will be available to your Slide Cart. When a customer selects this option, the corresponding shipping protection product will be added to their checkout as an add-on.


This guide will walk you through the steps of setting up shipping protection on your Slide Cart. By enabling shipping protection, you can offer your customers an additional layer of security for their purchases.
Step 1: Create a Shipping Protection Product:
In your Shopify admin, go to Products > click Add product.

Fill in the product details, such as title, description, and price. This price will be the additional charge for shipping protection.

Click Save then go to qikify Slide Cart app
Step 2: Enable Checkbox for Shipping Protection
Access Slide Cart Settings: Go to Apps > qikify Slide Cart > Slide Cart and Cart Upsell Settings.
Locate Shipping Protection: Find the section related to shipping protection
Enable Checkbox: Check the box to enable the shipping protection option for your customers.

Step 3: Select Shipping Protection Product:
Choose Product: From the dropdown menu, select the shipping protection product you created in Step 1. This will link your product to the shipping protection option on Slide Cart.

Update Title and Description (Optional): If desired, you can modify the title and description that appear to your customers when they select the shipping protection option. This can be helpful for providing additional information or customization.
Save Changes
Step 4: Save and check on live store
Confirm Settings: Review your settings to ensure they are correct.
Save: Click Save to apply your changes.
Check it on your live store and make any change if necessary.
