Upsell in Reward Bar

Upsell in Reward Bar helps merchants recommend products directly inside the Reward Bar. This feature encourages customers to add more items to their cart so they can reach the reward goal faster.

For example, if customers need to add a few more items or spend a little more to get a discount or free shipping, the upsell products can help them complete the goal more easily.

Before enabling upselling, make sure you have:

• An active Reward Bar configured in Qikify Checkout Plus.
• A matching discount in Shopify.

How to Enable Upselling

1.     Go to Qikify Checkout Plus > Checkout Extensions > Reward Bar.
2.     Scroll down to the Upselling section.
3.     Enable the Upselling checkbox.

Settings

• Offer title: Enter the title that will be displayed above the recommended products.

Example: These items will help you get the most out of your order

Product Recommendations

1. Auto recommend products: Choose this option if you want the app to automatically recommend products based on the trigger products

Our app uses the Shopify Search & Discovery app to manage product recommendations. You can choose the recommendation source:

• Related products
• Complementary products

You can also exclude specific products or collections from the recommendation list:

• Exclude products from the recommendation list
• Exclude collections from the recommendation list

2. Offer specific products: Choose this option if you want to manually select the products that will be shown in the Reward Bar.

• Products: Click Browse to select products from your store.

Prioritize products closest to the remaining reward amount

Enable this option if you want the app to prioritize products that are closest to the remaining amount customers need to reach the reward goal.

For example, if the reward goal is $50 and the customer’s cart total is $40, the remaining amount is $10. The app will prioritize products with prices close to $10, helping customers reach the reward goal more easily.

This option is useful when you want to suggest suitable add-on products based on the remaining cart amount.

Preview

After enabling upselling, the recommended products will be displayed inside the Reward Bar.

Customers can view the recommended product and click Add to add it to their cart. If there are multiple recommended products, customers can use the arrow buttons to view more products.

Notes

• If you choose Offer specific products, please make sure you have selected at least one product.
• If Prioritize products closest to the remaining reward amount is enabled, the app will prioritize products based on the remaining reward amount.
